This paper attempts to examine the impact of foreign market entry strategy-related factors on Korean manufacturing firms` financial performance in Vietnam. Based on previous researches, I identified five independent variables (entry timing, entry location, entry mode, entry scale, and entry purpose) that can influence the financial performance. I tested six hypotheses for five strategic variables and one moderator effect using a sample of Korean manufacturing firms` 135 projects in Vietnam. The results show that entry timing, entry location, and entry purpose are crucial to ensure Korean firms` successful performances. I also found that the moderating effect of entry timing was significant on the relationship between entry mode and financial performance. In addition, the statistical results show that firm size and Level of globalization are significant.
