장애인의 경제활동 변화유형과 예측요인에 관한 연구 : 잠재계층 성장분석(LCGA)을 중심으로 = A Study on Economic Activity Change Class and the related Predi ctors of People with Disabilities : Using Latent Class Growth Analysis

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 장애인의 경제활동이 종단적으로 어떠한 변화유형을 나타내는지를 대상중심적(person-centered) 접근방법으로 살펴보고, 그에 따른 예측요인들의 영향력을 개인특성, 장애특성, 경제특성, 인적자본 및 사회자본으로 구분하여 다양한 차원에서 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 장애인고용패널 2차년도(2009)부터 6차년도까지 총 5개년의 자료를 활용하여 3919명을 대상으로 잠재계층성장분석(LCGA)을 실시하였으며, 분류된 유형에 대한 예측요인들의 영향력을 살펴보기 위해 다항로지스틱회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 장애인의경제활동 종단적 변화유형은 네 개의 집단 즉, 미참여지속집단, 참여증가집단, 참여감소집단 및 참여유지집단으로 구분되었으며, 예측요인들의 영향력은 집단 간 비교에 따라 다양하게 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 장애인의 경제활동이 다양하고 이질적인 변화유형으로 구성되어 있으며, 그에 따른 예측요인의 영향력도달라질 수 있음을 경험적으로 증명하였다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 장애인의 경제활동참여를 촉진할 수 있는 구체적이고 차별화된 대응방안 마련과 정책적 제언을 제시하였다.

Purpose 또는 Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the longitudinal changeclasses in terms of economic activity of disabled people. In addition, this study examined thepredictive variables associated with each classes based on individual characteristics, disabilitycharacteristics, economic characteristics, human capital, and social capital. Method: For this study, data were drawn from Panel Survey of Employment for the Disabled (PSED). This study used 3,919 sample from second to the sixth wave. The methodology adopted in this study was latent class growth analysis and multinominal logistic regression. Results: As a result, four classes were identified: nonparticipation continuous class, participation increase class, participation decrease class, and participation continuous class. Additionally, group membership was found to be associated deferentially with each predictive variables. Conclusion 또는 Implications: These findings propose the practical and political implications for the strategies concerned with facilitating the economic activity of the disabled.
