국문 초록 (Abstract)

노인범죄는 범죄학적 측면에서 범죄의 특성 및 범죄 유발요인 분석 등 노인범죄의 예방정책들에 대해 구체적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 판단되어 진다. 따라서 각종 통계자료 및 문헌연구를 통해서 최근 고령화에 따른 노인범죄의 유형분류와 특성분석의 결과를 바탕으로 늘어나는 노인범죄의 적절한 경찰의 대응전략수립이 중요할 것이다. 뿐만 아니라 다양한 노인범죄의 출현이 비단 강력한 경찰력 동원만으로는 해결이 곤란하며 지역사회와 시민의 협력을 통한 치안협력네트워크 구성이 이루어져야 할 것으로 본다. 특히 노인문제는 지역사회의 현안문제와 밀접한 관련이 있기 때문에 지역사회문제에 좀 더 정통하고 적실성 있는 정부대응이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 치안협력 네트워크의 구축과 함께 효과적인 노인치안시스템 마련을 위한 정책적 시사점을 제공하는 것이 목적이다. 결과적으로 협력치안체계를 구축을 위해서는 노인범죄만을 전문적으로 취급하는 사법기관 간 협의체를 구성하여 운영, 노인범죄 대응 전문 인력확충, 노인범죄에 대한 인식이나 심각성, 사회복지기관의 역할 강화가 우선적으로 마련되어야 할 것이다.
