In this paper, the characteristics of post-feminism are explored, and the internal logic is analyzed by combining them with Lacan's fantasy theory. Most of the existing studies focus on the relationship between post-feminism, consumerism, and patriarchy, and systematic analysis of the illusion mechanism is still insufficient. In fact, post-feminism inherited some of the ideas of feminism, but gradually shifted to the confrontation between consumerism and patriarchy. Post-feminism led to a bias in consumerism by linking it with commercial discourses such as female subjects and luxury goods. At the same time, while expressing a critical position on male-dominatedism, it continues to define the identity of women within the discourse framework prescribed by the patriarchy while leaving its fundamental structure intact. From a fantastic point of view, this process provides women with only the illusion of the symbolic dimension and does not compensate for the lack of the subject. In other words, post-feminism cannot directly penetrate the illusion and cannot escape the control of the realization of equality and consumerism pursued by feminism. Rather, this only results in deepening the symbolization and commercialization of female subjects. The purpose of this study is to analyze these logical pitfalls in depth through Lacan's fantasy theory and to identify the contradictory mechanisms that post-feminism reveals between consumerism and patriarchal structures. This is to provide a new critical perspective in understanding the composition of contemporary female subjects.
