방탄소년단이 한국어 확산에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = A study on the influence of BTS on the spread of Korean language

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문의 목적은 K-pop 그룹으로 세계적인 성공을 이룬 방탄소년단이 한국어 전파와 확산에 미친 영향을 고찰하고 이들의 영향을 기반으로 한 한국어교욕 콘텐츠 개발을 위한 방법을 모색해 보는 데에 았다. 방탄소년단이 한국어 확산에 끼친 영향이 크다는 점에서 한국어교욕 연구에 있어 방탄소년단을 주목할 필요가 있을 것이다. 방탄소년단은 서구 팝 음악과는 다른 음악적 특성과 퍼포먼스로 세계인들의 이목을 끌었고 소셜 미디어를 활용하여 그들의 연습 과정과 일상생활까지 지속적으로 공유하고 소통하면서 팬덤이 전 세계로 확산되었다 팬데믹으로 인해 활동이 제한적이고 팬들과 만날 수 없는 상황에서도 방탄소년단이 세계적 인기를 구가하며 정상의 자리를 굳건히 지킬 수 있었던 배경에는 소설 미디어가 있었다. 방탄소년단과 소통하기 위해 팬들은 한국어를 배우기 시작했고 한국어를 배우는 팬들이 늘어나면서 세계적으로 한국어의 인기도 올라갔다. 한국어교욕 현장에서도 방탄소년단의 노래와 영상은 좋은 교욕 콘텐츠로 활용되고 있다. 이처럼 높아져 가는 한국어 열기와 수요에 부응하여 방탄소년단의 소속사에서는 한국어 전문 기관과 협약해 직접 한국어 콘텐츠를 제작해 선보였다. 제작된 콘텐츠는 세계에 흩어져 있는 팬들에게 한국어 학습 매체로 활용되고 있으며 해외 대학에서도 한국어교욕 학습자료로 사용되고 있다 음악 전문가들은 앞으로도 방탄소년단의 인기가 지속될 것으로 전망한다 따라서 이러한 기류에 맞춰 한국어 확산을 위한 연구와 노력도 속도를 높여야 할 것이다 이를 위해 방탄소년단의 콘텐츠를 활용한 한국어교육 및 학습 콘텐츠를 개발하고, 학습자들이 언제 어디서든 한국어를 학습할 수 있는 접근통로로써 소셜 미디어의 활용 방안을 제안한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of BTS, who achieved worldwide success as a K-pop group, on the spread of Korean language, and to find a way to develop Korean education contents based on their influence. Given that BTS has had a huge impact on Korean language, it is necessary to pay attention to BTS in the study of Korean language education. BTS has attracted the attention of people around the world with their musical characteristics and performances that are different from Western pop music, and they have continued to share their practice process and daily lives through social media, spreading their fandom all over the world. Even when their activities are limited and it is very difficult to meet their fans due to the pandemic, the power of social media became the reason why BTS is able to gain worldwide popularity and maintains its position at the top. In order to communicate with BTS, their fans began to learn Korean, and the more fans learn Korean, the more popular Korean language is around the world. In the field of Korean language education, BTS songs and videos are used as good educational content. In response to the growing enthusiasm and demand for the Korean language, BTS management company signed an agreement with a Korean language institution to directly produce Korean learning contents. They are used as a Korean language learning medium for fans scattered around the world, and they are also used as a learning material for Korean language education at universities abroad. Music experts predict that the popularity of BTS will continue in the future. Therefore, in line with these currents, it is necessary to speed up our research and efforts to spread the Korean language. In the light of this, the writer proposes the need for the development of Korean language education and learning contents using BTS contents, and suggest ways to utilize social media as an access channel for learners to learn Korean anytime, anywhere.
