친족어 {아저씨}, {아주머니}·{아줌마}의 비친족어로서의 확장·사용 양상 = The Aspect of Extension and Use of Kinship Terms of Address- in the Center of {Uncle}, {Aunt}

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Korean Journal of Linguistics, 43-1, 1-20. This paper discusses the aspects that the kinship terms of {uncle}, {aunt} are expanded and used as non-kinship terms. In the「Korean Standard Unabridged Dictionary」, the basic meanings of the two lexical units are arranged in kinship terms and are not treated as important in the expanded meaning used in non-kinship. However, in the actual language life, both lexical units are actively used as non-kinship terms, and the pattern of usage as kinship terms is greatly reduced. Thus, the aspect in that the kinship terms are expanded and used as non-kinship terms is one of the characteristics of Korean, which is also active in other kinship terms. In this paper, I try to identify the specific attributes that are used and expanded based on the forms and meanings of the two lexical units in real language life. In this case, it is necessary to specify the aspects that {uncle}, {aunt} is being used in actual language life in addition to the expansion of their forms and meanings, especially, since the two lexical units are used as the reference terms and address terms, the relationship between the language users and subjects will be investigated, and since the background of the conversation is an important factor, I will look at the attributes associated with it
