지역아동센터를 이용하는 초등학생의 스트레스, 스트레스 대처행동 및 건강상태

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 지역아동센터를 이용하는 초등학생을 대상으로 아동의 스트레스, 스트레스 대처 행동 및 건강상태 간의 관계를 규명하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 연구 도구는 학령기 아동의 생활스트레스 척도, 아동의 일상적 스트레스 대처행동 척도, 자기보고식 다차원 증상목록 검사지, 주관적 건강상태 질문지를 사용하였고 자료수집 기간은 2011년 11월부터 2012년 2월까지였다. 본 연구 대상자의 스트레스는 학업관련 스트레스가 가장 높았고, 스트레스 대처행동은 적극적 대처를 가장 많이 사용하였고 정신건강 문제는 대인 예민성이 가장 높았다. 일반적 특성에 따른 차이에서 스트레스는 담임교사와의 관계, 성적정도에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었다. 주관적 건강상태는 친구관계, 담임교사와의 관계, 성적, 가정형편에서 유의한 차이를 보였고, 정신건강은 친구관계, 성적과 유의한 차이를 보였다. 각 변수간의 관계에서 스트레스는 소극ㆍ회피적, 공격적, 사회지지추구 대처행동과 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였고, 주관적 건강상태와 정신건강의 하위영역인 대인예민성, 우울, 적대감, 불안, 신체화와 양의 상관관계를 나타냈다. 다중회귀분석을 실시한 결과 정신건강에 영향하는 인과적 요인으로 주관적 건강상태가 미치는 영향이 가장 컸고, 스트레스, 공격적 대처행동, 소극적 대처행동, 적극적 대처행동이 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 초등학생의 스트레스와 대처행동이 정신건강에 영향을 미치는 요인임을 확인하였으며, 스트레스 대처 기술을 포함한 아동의 스트레스 중재 방법 개발에 도움이 될 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of study was to identify stress, coping behavior and health problems of elementary students in community child centers. Data was collected from 252 elementary students in community child centers by using survey instruments, and was analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA and Pearson’s correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN program. The greatest stressor of participants was schoolwork, the most used coping behavior pattern was active coping and the largest problem of mental health was interpersonal sensitivity. Stress was correlated positively to coping behaviors of aggressive, inactive/avoidant and pursuit of social support. It was also correlated to subjective health states and mental health. The influencing factors to mental health are subjective health states, stress, aggressive, inactive/avoidant and active coping behaviors. Findings of this study suggests it is necessary to develop nursing intervention program including coping skills to promote mental health of elementary students.
