언어 유형론적 관점에서 본 만주어 첨사 dere의 추론 증거성 표지로서의 특성 = Characteristics of Manchu Particle dere as an Inference Evidential Marker

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to present dere as an ‘inference’ evidential marker by verifying that the realization conditions of the particle dere representing conjecture in Manchu coincide with the properties of the ‘inference’ evidential marker in linguistic typology. The fact that dere mainly appears in sentences with second and third person subjects is same as the first person subject restriction in languages with indirect evidential markers. Particle dere also shows the ‘first person effect’ which is one of the properties of indirect evidential. In Korean, Chinese, Thai, and Turkish, when a conjecture marker is used with a first person subject, it can show the meaning of intention. When dere is used with the first person subject, it can also show the meaning of intention. In conclusion, I argue that dere should be classified as an inference evidential marker because dere has the universal properties of indirect evidential markers, including inference evidentials.
