現代 命理學의 財星論 硏究 = A Study on the Theory of Cáixīng(財星) in The Modern Science of Mìnglǐ(命理)

People in the modern society live in the global capitalism era. The world works following the logic behind the capital. It is not exaggeration that money together with highly developed science technology rules human spirit. The past traditional society, which was constructed on the basis of agriculture, developed a calender with interest in astronomical phenomena. The Five Phases opened to the universe influences all elements of the nature and changes in the life of human beings (tiny existence in the universe) can be expected following the science of mingl?（命理）including the Five Phases, Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches.

In the past Confucian society, the social position of women was low and the accumulation of wealth was not so much highly valuable as seeking honor as a public officer. However, as the economy develops, social participation of women increases and the opportunity of education is equal to both men and women. In addition, the number of social areas that require women's capabilities rather than men is increasing. Moreover, as the capitalism society advances, power of wealth is growing, which is even enough for the size of capital to make the standards of value. Quality of local education varies according to the level of economy and sometimes, economic power creates new social class. Considering this circumstance, it is certain that wealth is inevitable elements of the modern society.

With this reason, this study has interested in the caix?ng theory of the Mingl? Science and focuses on the topic of " Theory of caix?ng in The Modern Science of " with expectation that perspective of the past caix?ng theory may differ from that of the modern caix?ng theory.

This study analyzes classic books containing explanation of caix?ng theory of the Mingl? Science including ??h?iz?ziping?? (??淵海子平??), ??shiti?nsu?ch?nw?i??(??適天髓闡微??), ??s?nmingt?nghui??(??三命通會??) and ??z?pingzh?nquanpingzhu??(??子平眞詮評註??). Caix?ng is one of the five phases that rig?n（日干） wins (Sun Stem: 日干). Controling caix?ng requires strength of rizhu（日柱）. If rizhu is weak, it should be supplemented by yinx?ng（印星）. If caix?ng is thriving, it is good for gu?nx?ng（官星） and it is afraid of robbing. Caix?ng means wealth and wifves in a way of liuq?n and the issue that caix?ng can be a father is controversy in the literature. From the author's point of view, it is more resonable to decide caix?ng by interpreting each g?ng（宮）and x?ng（星） in the five phases and considering its characteristics with regard to overall society and objects, rather than simply regarding as one of the five phases that rig?n wins.

Considering the modern application of this classical theory, this study observes how the concept of caix?ng is reflected with regard to job, wealth and wife and concubine. Job is classified in connection with the major, reflecting characteristics of the mind and the body. For wealth, this study refers to papers of empirical studies on sizhu（四柱）of self-employeed people. For wives, it refers to case studies on sizhu of divorced people. As caix?ng as a liuq?n（六親） represents the star of wealth and wife and concubine. the direction of caix?ng and flow of big fortune in sizhu can explain these elements.

On the assumption that complex interpretation of caix?ng is required in the modern science of mingl? according to investigating the modern application of the classical theory of caix?ng this study reviews ??Sajucheopgyeong?? (??四柱捷徑??), ??Myeongriyogang?? (??命理要綱??) and ??mingxuex?nyi?? (??命學新義??). The purpose is to revisit caix?ng theory by comparing modern mingl? books. The study reveals that even modern mingl? books follow the basic framework of classic literature. ??Mingxuex?nyi?? even more emphasizes the importance of caix?ng and develops new logics for yinx?ng and caix?ng as liuq?n, which regard yinx?ng and caix?ng as liuq?n that gives birth and grows rig?n and as factors that decide good or bad in the fortune of early years of a person.

According to the review of the modern application, it is concluded that interaction between combined elements including the five phases, liuq?n, dayun（大運）, suiyun（세운） and g?ng decides fortune and unfortune of sizhu, rather than simple sh?ngk?izhihe（生剋制和）of the five phases. In the modern society, it is said that the role of caix?ng is the most important in analyzing sizhu. As the social environment places value on the roles of capital, it is very important to analyze healthiness and direction of caix?ng, which also provide reliability to sizhuk?nming（四柱看命）. The study that identifies the system of interpretation of caix?ng in the modern science of mingl? and provides power to its value makes big contribution. As characteristics and properties of caix?ng lead to wide interpretation of each social phenomenon and objects and answers can be obtained by analyzing caix?ng in the context of results and achievements that individual persons want, it is the key element of sizhuk?nming in the capitalism society. Modern mingl? researchers and sizhu experts should pay attention to such roles of caix?ng and have wisdom to interprets sizhu from various perspectives. To do this, Researchers should try to make science of mingl? one of academic disciplines by having attitude to remove boundary between disciplines with interest in various sectors of the society. In addition, this study expects that the results achieved by studies on a caix?ng theory can deliver a message of hope in the context of counselling and help to find best interest of an individual person and, as a result, the studies on a caix?ng theory will be reborn as parts of the recognized academic system.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대사회는 고도로 발전된 과학기술과 함께 자본이 정신을 지배하고 있다고 해도 과언이 아닐 정도로 전 지구가 자본의 논리 속에서 움직이고 있는 글로벌 자본주의 시대이다. 과거의 전통사회는 농업을 기반으로 했으므로 天文에 대한 관심이 曆法으로 발전했다. 우주에 열려 있는 오행이라는 기운은 대자연 곳곳에 영향이 미치지 않는 것이 없으며 우주의 미물인 인간의 삶 또한 五行과 天干, 地支라는 命理學의 큰 흐름 속에서 그 변화를 예측할 수 있다.
과거의 유교적인 관점에서 여성의 사회적인 지위는 낮았으며 재물을 모으는 행위 역시 관직에 올라 명예를 추구하는 것에 비해 그 가치는 높지 않았다. 하지만 지금은 경제가 발달할수록 여성의 사회참여도가 높아지고 남성과 동등한 교육을 받고 있다. 오히려 남성보다 여성의 능력이 두각을 나타내고 있는 사회 각 분야들이 늘어나고 있는 추세다. 또한 자본주의 사회가 발달하면서 자본의 규모가 가치의 척도를 형성 할 만큼 재물의 위력은 막강하다. 경제수준의 정도에 따라 대한민국의 교육이 지역편차를 보이고, 그 경제력은 새로운 계급을 형성하기도 한다. 이러한 맥락에서 볼 때 현대 사회에서 재물이라는 것은 필수 불가결한 요소로 등장하고 있다.
이러한 사유에서 命理學의 財星에 대해 관심을 가지게 되었고, 과거의 재성론과 현대의 재성론에는 그 看法에 약간의 차이가 있을 것이라는 기대에서 ‘현대 명리학의 재성론 연구’라는 주제를 조명하게 되었다.
고전의 명리서적들 ??淵海子平??, ??適天髓闡微??, ??三命通會??, ??子平眞詮評註?? 등에서 재성에 대한 설명들을 분석해보았다. 재성은 日干이 극하는 五行이며, 재성을 다스리기 위해서는 日柱의 身强함이 요구되고, 일주가 身弱할 경우 印星의 보좌가 필요하다. 재성이 왕성하면 官星을 생하여야 좋다. 또한 比劫의 分奪을 두려워한다. 재성은 육친적으로는 財物과 妻妾에 해당되고, 재성이 아버지가 될 수 있느냐 하는 논리는 문헌마다 논란이 있었다. 논자의 사고로는 재성을 단순히 日干이 剋하는 五行이라고 분석하기보다는 각 五行의 宮과 星을 해석하여 사회와 사물 전체에 재성의 특성을 대입하여 판단함이 더 타당하다고 사료된다.
이런 재성의 고전적인 이론을 현대적 적용에 비추어 직업, 재물, 배우자의 관점에서 재성이 어떻게 반영되었는지 살펴보았다. 직업은 십신의 특성을 반영하여 전공학과와 관련된 직업 별로 분류하였고, 재물은 특정 분야의 자영업자의 사주로 실증적인 사례연구의 논문을 참고하였으며, 배우자는 이혼자 사주의 사례연구 논문을 참고하여 연구하였다. 재성은 육친으로는 財物과 妻妾의 별이므로 사주상의 재성의 향방과 대운의 흐름은 이를 설명해줄 수 있다.
또한 재성론에 대한 고전적인 이론과 현대적 적용을 살핀 결과 현대명리학에서는 재성에 대한 복합적인 판단이 필요할 것이라고 전제하에 현대의 명리서적들 ??四柱捷徑??, ??命理要綱??, ??命學新義??를 살펴보았다. 현대 명리서적들과의 비교를 통해 재성론을 재조명해보기 위함이었는데, 현대의 명리서들은 고전문헌의 내용을 기본골자로 따르고 있다. 단, ??命學新義??에서는 재성의 중요성을 한층 강조하며 육친으로서의 인성과 재성에 대해 새로운 논리를 펼치고 있었다. 그것은 인성과 재성이 둘 다 일간을 낳고 키워내는 필요한 육신으로서 초년운의 길흉을 결정하는 인자로 본다는 점이다.
이렇게 현대적 적용을 살핀 결과 단순한 오행의 생극제화가 아닌 오행, 육친, 대운, 세운, 궁 등의 복합적인 요소들의 상호작용이 사주의 길흉을 결정한다는 결론에 이르렀다.
현대사회에서 재성의 역할은 사주분석에서 가장 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 자본의 역할이 중요한 사회분위기인 만큼 사주에서 재성의 건전성과 향배를 분석하는 것은 굉장히 가치 있는 일이며 사주간명의 신빙성을 부여하는 일이다. 재성론 연구를 통해 현대 명리학적 재성해석의 체계를 살피고 그 가치에 힘을 싣는 연구는 큰 소득이었다. 재성의 특징과 속성은 사회현상과 사물의 각 분야에서 넓게 해석할 수 있고, 개인이 원하는 결과와 성과라는 맥락에서 재성을 해석하여 답을 얻을 수 있으므로 자본주의 사회에서 사주간명의 핵심이라 할 수 있다. 현대의 명리학자들과 술수가들은 이러한 재성의 역할에 주목해야 할 것이며 다양한 시각으로 사주를 해석할 수 있는 혜안을 가져야 할 것이다. 그러기 위해서는 사회 각 분야에 관심을 가지고 학문적인 경계를 허무를 수 있는 연구자로서의 자세로 명리학을 학문의 한 분야로 자리매김 할 수 있도록 노력해야 할 것이다. 덧붙여 재성론에 대한 연구의 성과로 상담이라는 맥락에서 희망의 메시지를 던져줄 수 있고, 개인의 적성을 찾아줄 수 있는 제도권의 학문으로서 거듭나기를 기대한다.
