지역 문학 교육의 성격과 목표 = A Study on Teaching Method of Regional Literature

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 지역 문학의 교육 방법의 기초를 마련하기 위해 광주 · 전남 현대시를 중심으로 각 지역의 문학 문화의 가치를 살리는 교육의 필요성을 살피고자 하였다． 그 결과 지역 문학 교육의 성격은 다원성을 살리는 교육， 지역 사회의 공통된 가치와 태도를 익히는 교육， 지역의 정체성을 형성하는 교육이라는 것을 확인할 수 있었다． 또 다른 지역 문학 교육의 성격은 자신의 사회 문화적 위치에 대한 이해뿐만 아니라 타자에 대한 이해 교육으로 확장될 가능성을 담지하고 있다． 왜냐하면 지역적 주체는 타자 및 지역 공동체와의 상호 연결된 존재이기 때문이다． 마지막으로 지역 문학 교육의 성격은 학습자가 위의 두 가치의 수용을 통해 지역의 역사와 현실의 문제를 해결하고 창조하는 주체를 교육하는 토대 형성에도 있었다． 이러한 성격에 따라 지역 문학 교육의 목표는 다음과 같이 설정하였다． 첫째， 현장성의 이해이다． 현장성은 지역의 언어， 사회， 경제， 지리， 문화 등 의 여러 조건을 기반으로 하여 이루어지며， 지역의 문학 향수자는 이에 동 질적 정서와 인식을 공유할 수 있기 때문이다． 둘째， 특수성의 인식과 보편화이다． 지역적 특수성의 신식과 실천이 창조적인 활동을 통해 보편적 가치를 창출할 수 있기 때문이다． 셋째， 지역 정체성의 형성이다． 지역의 정체성은 지역 언어를 매개로 지역의 공동체 의식을 담보하며 지역의 문제를 해결하고 보편적인 가치를 창출하는 문학 능력을 배양할 수 있기 때문이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is to speculate educational methods of community literature centering on modern poetry of Gwangju city and Jeonnam province in order to prepare a base of educational methods of community literature. This study intends to decide nature and goals of community literature education by speculating nature and goals of Korean language education and literature education, and accordingly, seek for practical principles and methods of the education. The nature of community literature education is closely related to the nature of Korean language education and literature education. Education to encourage multi-origination is designed to teach common values and attitudes of community villages and prepare identities through literature, which can bring to better acceptance and understanding of literature of other communities. Specificity of a region is derived from its distinct tradition in term of cultural science, and it can be expanded to better understanding of their own culture and other people's. Also, it can be said that subjects of a region is correlated with others and communities, and create history and reality of the region. According to nature of community literature education, its goals are decided. Reality is represented based on various conditions such as language, society, economy, geography, and culture, and the people who love community literature can share the same emotion and understanding. Specificity has a meaning in that it can contribute to cultivate literary capability based universal values through creative activities. Regional identities are prepared through language as a medium, and can be a literary mechanism that reflects community-conscious nature and national consciousness.
