리어자일 이론을 이용한 수도권 항만 및 배후지 내 고부가가치 물류산업 육성방안 = A Strategy for the Leagile Port Logistics & Industrial Clusters(PLIC) Development around Seoul Metropolitan Area

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to develop a strategy for the leagile Port Logistics & Industrial Clusters (PLIC) around Seoul Metropolitan area.
From this study we could find that Incheon port and Pyeongtaek-Dangjin port are politically different two ports, but they have too many similarities to operate independently. It is because of using the same approaching sea route and crossing use of the same hinterland called Seoul Metropolitan Area.
These similarities mean that two ports have to cooperate each other not to compete each other with the same development strategy for their future.
This study found the solution of the port cooperation in the Seoul Metropolitan area from the cluster theory. The specialized leagile PLIC could be a significant answer for the question, “What is the proper strategy for port
hinterland development of Seoul Metropolitan area?”

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 수도권 인근에 위치한 항만인 평택· 당진항의 항만 특성과 배후지 특성을 항만물류 시스템적 관점에서 조명했다는 특징을 지니고 있다. 우선 항만물류산업정책과 관련한 최신의 공급망관리(Supply Chain Management) 관련 이론들과 클러스터 이론 등의 고찰을 통해 수도권 내 평택·당진항의 항만 및 배후지 개발에 적용 가능한 시사점을 고찰하였다. 또한 평택·당진항의 항만 및 배후지 개발에 시사하는 바를 토대로 리어자일 항만·산업클러스터 개념을 제안함으로써 평택·당진항의 항만클러스터 구축에 필요한 구체적인 실천방안과 항만 · 산업클러스터 내에 유치하는 것이 바람직한 산업유형을 제시하는 것을 주요 목적으로 한다.
