      The objectives of this study were (1)to explore the critical influence factors out of roles, duties, tasks, skills, and demographical variables related to the occupational profession of youth field specialist, (2)to draw the some implication for promoting their professionalism. The instruments were composed of the selective items to investigate the levels of the roles, duties, tasks, and skills, to identify demographic variables, and to measure the levels of the professional occupation identity of youth field specialist. The data were collected from 232 of the youth field specialist. The SPSSWIN 10.0 program was used in analyzing the data, and the statistical techniques were factor analysis, multiple regression, factor scores regression, and optimal scaling regression. The critical influence factors to occupational profession of youth field specialists were (1)the domain of the professional duties out of demographical variables, (2)the roles as leaders, program planners, program managers, subject-matter experts, (3)the competencies of performing the program development, program implementation, and facilitating youth activity out of duties of youth field specialists, (4)the skills to setting objectives, to negotiating to facilitating experience learning, to assessing youth needs, to counselling, to facilitating learning activities, to facilitating cooperative learning, to motivating, to coaching, to questioning. The conclusions can be drawn in terms of the promotion for the professionalism of youth field specialist. Firstly, the professionalism of youth field specialist will can be improve through keeping up their self-development, reconstructing the system of education and training for youth field specialist, managing steadily the curriculum in university. Secondly, the professionalism of youth field specialist will can be obscure through improving the related laws in oder to test validly their the competencies and qualifications. Thirdly, It should be focused scholarly on the methodology of youth guidance and development based on the roles, duties, tasks, skills as the result of this study.
