The purpose of this study is to investigate leadership that leads to the high performance of team organization. That is, the leadership of team organization should be strengthened to escalate the performance of team organization in the today's complex environments. To achieve this purpose, this study executed case studies, which centered the two failure cases.
The problems in team organizations by case studies are as follows.
First, people who are accustomed to the existing bureaucratic organizations have not fully understand the objectives and operations of team organizations.
Second, People don't communicate with each other because of the shortage of information sharing.
Third, it seems that assessment and compensation is not impartially carried out by operation results.
Fourth, The delegation of authority was not carried out effectively between managements and managers.
Fifth, Case companies seemed not to support the performance of people's duties in new team organizations.
The suggestions to solve the problems that showed in case studies are as follows.
First, team leaders should drive their people to work stably by clearly talking about team's assessment, compensation, and operation.
Second, team leaders should delegate their authorities to people and so people can do their duties by delegation of authority.
Third, having defined people's duty, team leaders should perform the role of supporter for people to carry out their duties very competently.
Fourth, team leaders should encourage people to share their work-related informations and to participate in decision-making processes by means of free communication among people.
