After the Industrial Revolution, Rapid urbanization enhanced the inner city inhabitants quality of life in social, cultured, and economical side. However, due to global warming environmented side has not improved. Rather, ecological environment got worse. This study is to improve to quality of life of the people in the densely built-up inner city area by analizing ecological preservation land suitability. Ecological preservation land suitability analysis has been developed by Ian McHarg through Map overlay method and it has evolaed into GIS(Geographic information system). GIS used in distributed model, evaluating model, and in Korea , land suitability assessment and enviroment assessment. The concept, Finding to the utilize the land by analyzing the land’s ecological specificity starts with the basic concept that human and environment can coexist.
