To investigate the effects of internship program on socialization and work outcomes of organizational members, we studied 89 employees hired From internship program and 117 employees hired from regular recruiting procedure in 7 firms. The results indicated that employees hired from internship program perceived higher congruence between organizational and individual values, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and performance, and lower turnover intention than thaw hired from regular recruiting procedure. The results also showed that employees hired from internship program constantly perceived person-organization fit, job satisfaction, organization commitment, turnover intention and performance regardless of tenure. For employees hired from regular recruiting procedure, however, employees with more seniority showed lower level of person-organization fit perception, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and performance, and higher level of turnover intention than those with less seniority. These results were discussed from the perspectives of organizational socialization strategies and organizational members` expectations and aspirations.
