양산시 원도심 재생을 위한 교동 춘추역사공원 계획 및 설계 = (A)plan for regeneration of the old settlement, Chunchu Historic Park in Kyodon, Yangsan

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The local small cities of our country have many historic resources representing traces and memories of the past. However, most of historical resources excluding some of them are left without maintenance inside and outside of the regions or only designated and registered as a local cultural assets and considered to be a barrier to the local development of the existing local small cities due to insufficiency of management and recognition. In addition, it made local resident consider it to be unnecessary space from private ownership due to legal regulations.
However, it is a trend that at present, cases regenerating the existing old settlements through utilization of the local historic and cultural assets in the 1viewpoint of urban regeneration and local regeneration are gradually increasing and the historic parks became included in a type of an urban park according to the Urban Park Law to provide a chance to increase its importance. Moreover, various efforts to prepare for various plans for urban regeneration of local small cities are made. But, the studies on the efficient preservation and management methodology for local regeneration and consistent maintenance through utilization of places or facilities with historic value are almost absent.
This study examined a methodology to clarify the relationship of value of the historic space and facilities not as unnecessary space but local assets to the local residents and positive conditions influencing on resident life and for this, consider the potential power of the historic places and neighboring connections to prepare for historic and cultural space.
The object is Ilwon, Yangsan Hyanggyo as well as Chunchu neighboring park of Kyodong , Yangsan-si which was the center of the past education in Yangsan and the aim of the study was to prepare for a plan of communication with the surrounding regions to secure consistency as historic parks and the identity of the region and utilization and to make them as representative historic and cultural space of Yangsan. In addition, through security of places, it tried to suggest a plan to contribute to regeneration of the existing old settlements and local economy as intermediate space to connect city, nature and human beings.
Accordingly, it is considered that the result of this study has the meaning to suggest a plan and design course as basic data of a local regeneration plan which is not a simple historic park preparation.
