누리과정 교사용 지도서에 나타난 인성교육 요소 분석 : 연령, 생활주제, 활동 영역을 중심으로 = An analysis of character education components in Nuri curriculum guidebooks for teachers : a focus on ages, themes, and activities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 만3, 4, 5세 누리 과정 지도서에 수록된 활동중인 성교육요소가 포함된 활동을 연령별, 생활주제별, 활동영역별로 나누어 분석함으로써 누리과정의 주요 구성방향인 인성교육이 실제로 어떻게 적용되었는지를 파악하는데 목적이있다. 이를 위해 인성교육 요소가 포함된 총1606개의 활동을 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 만4세 지도서의 활동이 가장 많은 인성교육 요소를 포함하고 있었으며만3세, 만5세 순으로 나타났다. 만3, 4, 5세 모두 존중과 협력의 분포가 가장 많았고, 나눔과 효는 상대적으로 매우 낮은 분포를 나타냈다. 둘째,생활 주제에 따라 많은 비중을 차지하는 인성교육요소가 달랐으며 특정 생활주제에 인성교육 요소가 집중되는것으로 나타났다. 또한, 성격 및내용에 따라 특정 인성교육요소가 집중되는 생활주제가 있었다. 셋째, 인성교육 요소가 가장 많이 나타난 실내 자유선택 활동은 수·조작영역 이었으며, 집단활동은 이야기 나누기였다. 인성교육 요소는 대부분의 영역 및 집단활동에 다양하게 분포 되어있는 것으로 나타났으나 연령에 따라 차이가 있었다. 또한,인성교육 요소가 명시되어 있기는하나 관련된 내용이 활동방법에 기술되지않은 활동이 있었고, 활동방법에 인성교육 요소와 관련된 내용이 포함되어 있는데도 인성교육 요소가 명시되지 않은 활동이 있었다.이러한 연구결과를 볼때 누리과정 지도서에서의 인성교육 요소의 분포가 연령, 생활주제, 활동에 따라 보완되어야 할것이다. 더불어, 연구결과 및 시사점을 토대로 후속연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to understand a practical application of early childhood character education through investigating activities including character education components that are on 3 to 5-year-old preschooler-oriented Nuri curriculum guidebooks for teachers as per ages, life themes, and activity areas. For this, character education components in 1606 activities were investigated. The results of the study were as follows.
First, the greatest number of character education components were in teachers’ guidebooks for 4- year-old preschoolers, followed by those for 3-year-old and for 5-year-old preschoolers in that order. The most common character education components for each age were ‘cooperation’and ‘respect’; whereas, ‘sharing’ and ‘filial piety’ were the least common. Second, there were differences in the proportions of the character education component depending on life themes, although it appeared that the character education components converged on particular life themes. In addition, there were particular life themes that occurred as particular character education components according to the characteristics and content of the life themes. Third, the indoor free-play activity that had the most character education was mathematics-manipulative activity and so was ‘discourse’ among the group activities. The character education components were varied in most of the free-play and group activities, but there were some differences by age. Further, there were some activities where character education components were specified but not described in the activity processes, and there were some activities where character education components were not specified although they were described in the activity processes. On the basis of these results, some implications and suggestions for further study were proposed.
