북한이탈주민의 젠더차별도가 가정폭력태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 = A study on the effect of North Korean refugees’ gender discrimination towards domestic violence attitude

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to contribute to resolving the domestic violence problem of North Korean refugees. It proceeded by verifying the structural relationship between gender discrimination, gender perspective, and domestic violence attitudes of North Korean refugees. To do so, the relationship between the amount of gender discrimination and domestic violence attitudes of North Korean refugees was verified, and the role of gender perspective was investigated. The subjects of the study were 327 North Korean refugees. As a research method, SPSS 22.0 program was used to check the reliability and calculate the internal consistency. Also, a frequency analysis was used to understand the general characteristics of the research subject. Furthermore, t-test, one-way ANOVA, post hoc test, correlation analysis between variables, and multiple regression analysis were used to understand the level of research variables and to perform difference certification based on the characteristics of the research subject. As a result, the higher the amount of discrimination towards North Korean refugees, the lower their gender perspective and allow domestic violence. Thus, it showed that there is a mediating effect between the amount of gender discrimination and domestic violence. Taken together, it is expected that North Korean refugees will be able to prevent domestic violence through policy and practical efforts by reducing the amount of North Korean refugees’ gender discrimination and enhancing their gender perspective capabilities.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 북한이탈주민의 젠더차별도와 젠더관점, 가정폭력태도 간의 구조적 관계를 검증하여 북한이탈주민의 가정폭력 문제를 해소하는 데 기여하고자 실시되었다. 이를 위해 북한이탈주민의 젠더차별도와 가정폭력태도의 관계를 검증하고 그 가운데 젠더관점이 어떠한 역할을 하는지 규명하였다. 연구대상은 북한이탈주민 327명이었다. 연구방법은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 신뢰도 확인을 위한 내적합치도를 산출하였고, 연구대상의 일반적 특성을 파악하기 위한 빈도분석, 연구변인의 수준을 파악과 연구대상의 특성에 따른 차이검정을 위해 t검정과 일원배치 분산분석, 사후검정, 변수 간 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 북한이탈주민의 젠더차별도가 높을수록 젠더관점은 낮고 가정폭력태도는 허용적인 것으로 나타났으며, 젠더차별도와 가정폭력태도의 관계에서 젠더관점이 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 종합해 보면 북한이탈주민의 젠더차별도를 낮추고, 젠더관점 역량을 키워 가정폭력태도를 감소시키는 정책적, 실천적 노력을 통해 북한이탈주민의 가정폭력을 예방할 수 있으리라 기대된다.
