사회과학과 예술 간 융합교육의 필요성과 가능성 - 한나 아렌트의‘ 행위’ 개념을 중심으로 = Necessity and Possibility of Interdisciplinary education between Social science and Art―with a focus on Suggestions to Undergraduate Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is an attempt to discuss the necessity and possibility of interdisciplinary education between social science and art from the theoretical perspective, which is critical for its proper implementation as a recent direction of restructuring undergraduate education. For this, firstly, we investigate the formative process of concepts of social science and art and then identify the relation between the two. Secondly, we maintain that the interdisciplinary study and education of the two beyond their modern relation is necessary according to the respective development process of the two. Thirdly, we discuss the possibility of interdisciplinary education between the two in a sense that both could be understood in terms of the concept 'action' for freedom because social science and art could be regarded upon respectively as politics and culture. Finally, against the theoretical background, we make suggestions to undergraduate education in Korea.
