전자문서 관리를 위한 메타데이터 모델링에 관한 연구 = A study on the Metadata Modeling for the management of Electronic Documents

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인터넷 환경에서 웹의 급속한 성장과 더불어 디지털 도서관에 관한 연구가 활성화되어 왔다. 디지털도서관의 전자문서를 효과적으로 관리하고 검색하기 위해서 문서 메타데이터의 취급은 매우 중요한 과제이다. 본 논문에서는 하나의 확장 Dublin Core 메타데이터 모델을 제시하고 객체지향 데이터베이스 개념 데이터 모델을 설계하였다. 제안된 모델은 멀티미디어 전자문서에 대한 관리와 검색의 효율성을 제공할 수 있다.

According to the rapid growth of world-wide web in internet environment. the research on the digital library has been activated. In order to provide the efficient management and retrieval of electronic documents in digital library, the treatment of document metadata is a very important task. In this paper, we propose an extended Dublin Core metadata model, and design its object-oriented database schema. The proposed model will be able to provide the efficiency of the management and retrieval for multimedia electronic documents.
