This study is to analyze how Release Interval of Arcery players influences on the record, and then to find out a good Release Interval in archery events such as 90m, 70m, 50m, and 30m, employing three college players participated in the 3rd President Flag Tournament.
The results from the survey and analysis of them are as follows;
1. The average (X) of H. J. S., pre-national representative player, in Release Interval is 14.16˝ (Fa), 42.58˝ (Sa), 40˝ (Ta), and the standard destination (S. D) is 12. 75˝ (Fa), 13.35˝ (Sa), 12.42˝ (Ta). These records make us believe that he did the b2st Release Interval among other players.
2. But we don't believe H. J. S. to have done a good Release Interval in the event of 50m, as his records are X (43. 75˝) in the first arrow, X (54˝) in the second arrow, and X (32. 81˝) in the third arrow, as though he marked better record among them. The reason that he did not do better Release Interval is due to his heavy burden on R.I. in T.A.
3. Though there are differences in players' physiological, psychological conditions, the good Release Interval, according to the results surveyed and analyzed by this study, is as follows; Fa (40˝), Sa (35˝), Ta (45˝) in short-distance events such as 30m, 50m, and Fa (35˝), Sa (35˝), Ta (50˝) in long-distance events such as 70m and 90m.
