서비스무역 교육 및 연구방향과 과제

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We must do our best to solve the economic problems in Korea which confront us in the age of global competition. One of the key issues is to pave the way for vitalizing trade in services as the economic paradigm shifts. We must also recognize that the service sectors in global economy become very important in the business aspect. Dell, known as the best computer company by selling customized computers through the on-line, is now focusing on service sector as well. That is, Dell Inc. is transforming its core business competence into global on-line service export from on-line computer H/W sales. There are many potential service resources in most business areas and it is very important to find out what kinds of service resources that might contribute to the future of Korea`s economies. Moreover, in order to develop a service industry and trade in services, it is very important for us to reform the infrastructure of education and research as quickly as we can. This paper focuses on bringing up the ways to improve and develop service trade in Korea by reforming education and research fields on trade in services. In addition, we have to care about the stable development and balance of service trade in order to make one more close step to the developed country. Korea does not focus on trade in services like the other developed countries, especially education and research fields. It is recommended that many professional personals would be trained through appropriate educational processes. In addition, we have to use the Service Supply Chain Management(s-SCM) technique by coordinating each service factor, service industry and service trade, and prepare the educational framework by organizing independent educational curriculum, objective, content, teaching method and feedback system in order to enhance the research outcome of trade in services.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

컴퓨터 하드웨어의 글로벌 온라인 판매를 주력으로 삼고 있는 델(Dell Inc.)이 온라인 서비스수출 기업으로 변신하고 있는 현실에서 우리는 서비스무역의 중요성을 잘 알 수 있다. 우리 주변에는 수많은 서비스자원들이 잠재하고 있으며, 이를 서비스수출상품으로 발굴해내는 일은 한국경제의 미래를 위해 매우 중요하다. 따라서 서비스부문의 산업 및 무역을 발전시키기 위해서는 교육·연구 부문의 인프라를 개선하는 일이 시급하다. 본 논문은 우리나라 서비스무역의 발전을 앞당길 수 있도록 서비스무역 부문의 교육 및 연구방향을 총체적으로 점검하고 그 대안을 제시함으로써 한국무역의 안정적 발전과 균형을 도모함과 아울러, 서비스산업의 발전을 통하여 한국경제의 선진국 진입을 돕는 데에 연구목적을 둔다. 우리나라는 서비스무역에 대한 관심이 주요 선진국들에 비해 매우 낮은 편이며, 특히 교육 및 연구 부문에서 체계적으로 대응하지 못하고 있다. 서비스무역 교육을 위한 교육 목표와 교육과정, 교육콘텐츠 및 교수법이 유기적으로 조합된 교육 프레임을 통해 서비스무역 전문인력 양성에 주력할 것을 권장한다. 또한 서비스무역 분야가 독립적인 학문으로 거듭날 수 있도록 서비스요소-서비스산업-서비스무역으로 연결되는 서비스공급체인(Service Supply Chain)을 체계화시켜 연구시스템을 개선할 것이 권장된다.
