山材 住民의 山林保護에 대한 意識動向 : 全北地方 山林의 人爲的 被害를 中心으로 With Special reference to the artifical harm of the forest in Jeonbuk province = Conscious Movement on the View of the Forest Protection of the Mountain Village Inhabitants

The purpose of the study is to analyze concious movement on the view of the forest protection of the mountain village inhabitants in Jeonbug province, and to explain a preventive of artificial harm of the forest effectively And the basis of the data for the study is to have been obtained by the sample of 561 households, the chi-squre test was used. The results are summarized as follows ;
1. Above 65 % of the mountain village farm families not having forest area and above 70 % of the forest owner have with below 3ha.
2. The more people gather the fuel wood, the less they are controlled. But the rate of their punishment is high.
3. The highly educated people they are, the fewer they violate the forest law. And the motivation of the offence against the forest law is usually due to the use of the fire wood.
4. The punishment pertaining to the collection of fuel wood is slight. Most offenders think themselves distressed for their part.
5. Most mountain village inhabitants are against the -removal of the fields burnt away for cultivation. But highly educated people agree to the removal of them.
