<공정한 이미지 소비>로 본 한국의 민족지 영화 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이  연구는  <공정한 이미지 소비: Fair Image Consumption> 를 통해서 바라본 한국의 민족지 영화를 연구하고자 한다. 이미지 왜곡이 없는 편견 없는 사회, 이미지의 다양성이 존재하는 영화의 문화적 현상을 연구하는데 목적을 둔다. 우리의 문화적 현상은 주변의 과도한 이미지의 홍수 속에서 살고 있다고 해도 무방하다. 우리나라 사회를 포함해서 아프리카 등을 포함한 저개발 국가는 우리에게 왜곡된 이미지를 대중매체가 부추긴다. 이미지의 편향과 왜곡 현상은 대중들에게 고정관념 등 편견을 낳게 한다. 이를 해결하기 위해 연구자는 <공정한 이미지 소비>를 통해 편견 없는 사회를 꿈꾸어 본다. 결론적으로는 타인의 고통(Regarding the Pain of Others)에 관한 인문학, 시각예술, 미디어를 통해서 주변에서 소외당하고 고통을 당하는 타인의 목소리를 경청하고, 그들의 고통을 공감하고 고통스러운 메시지에 관심을 가져야 한다. 이것은 현대 사회에서 시각예술이 추구해야 할 인간의 조건이다.

This study aims to study Korean ethnographic films through Fair Image Consumption. The aim is to study the cultural phenomenon of a film without image distortion, a society without prejudice, image diversity. Our cultural phenomena can be said to live in the flood of excessive images around us. Underdeveloped countries, including ours, including Africa, are fueling the mass media with distorted images. Image biases and distortions cause stereotypes and prejudices to the public. In order to solve this problem, researchers dream of a society without prejudice through <fair image consumption>. In conclusion, through the humanities, visual arts, and media about <Regarding the Pain of Others>, listen to the voices of others who are marginalized and distressed, and sympathize with their suffering and pay attention to painful messages . This is the human condition that visual arts should pursue in modern society.
