국제 평화권 논의의 추세와 함의

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

During the time of Cold War, international community had begun to be interested in the right of peoples to peace reflecting the danger of nuclear war and the rising North-South problems. The discussion at that time, however, remained in an abstract level. Since the end of Cold War the right has received more attention by such parties concerned as the UN related agencies, INGOs and local assemblies or governments around the world. While not being a written law, the right to peace is increasingly becoming an internationally recognized human right. On the Korean peninsula the right to peace implies for the building of peace regime, governance in decision making of security policy, and peace and unification education. Of course now remains to be studied the task, applying the right in a practical and creative way on the peninsula.
