Recently, as smart home construction based on Internet-of-Things (IoT) has been actively developed, smart devices including various sensors have been used for the smart home construction. The Various sensors included in smart devices collect unique data and actively manage smart homes using the collected data. However, unnecessary power consumption occurs in the process of delivering the data collected by the sensors to the external platforms or users, leading a reduction in the energy efficiency. In this paper, we propose an adaptive sensor data transmission scheduling scheme that schedules the period of the data transmission to the central server based on the change pattern of the data measured by each sensor. The proposed scheme minimizes unnecessary data transmission by adjusting the transmission period for each sensor by using the class identifier. This can reduce power consumption for the data transfer between the various smart devices and a central server.
