영어 학습 방법에 대한 학습자 선호도 분석: 신학대학교 학습자를 중심으로 = The Preferences of English Teaching Methods for English Learners in a Theological University

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 영어 수업에 있어서 대면 수업과 Zoom을 통한 온라인 수업에 대한 학생들의 반응과 학습 선호도를 조사하였다. 신학대학교 학습자들을 대상으로 하여 영어 학습을 진행한 후에, 두 가지 유형에 대한 선호도를 분석하였다. 코로나-19의 종결로 인하여 바로 대면 수업 방식이 시행되었는데, 학습자들은 최근 이러한 두 가지 학습 방법을 모두 경험하였으며, 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대면 수업에 대한 학생들의선호도 분석 결과는 긍정적으로 나타난다. 모든 문항에서 평균치 이상을보이고 있으며, 성별 차이에서도 문항 간에 큰 차이를 보이지 않는다. 둘째, Zoom 수업에 대한 분석 결과에서도 전체적으로 평균치 이상으로 나타난다. 성별 차이를 보면, 전체적으로 유의미하게 차이는 보이지 않는 다. 셋째, 대면 수업 방식과 Zoom 수업 문항에 대한 상관관계 분석에서도 각 문항 간에 매우 높은 상관관계를 보여주고 있다. 이러한 연구의 결과를 통하여 기존의 다양한 수업 방식에 대한 학습자들의 반응을 이해하게 되었다. 또한 이를 강의 방식에 반영할 수 있으며, 다른 방식의 강의개발에 적용할 수 있다고 본다. 이 연구의 한계점으로서 연구 참여자들이신학대학교 재학생들로 제한된 점이 있다. 그리고 단지 두 가지 유형의강의 방법만 수행된 점이 있다. 추후에 좀 더 확대된 학습자들과 학습 방법을 도입하여 이 연구의 결과와 비교 분석이 요구된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study shows learners’ preferences for recently implemented learningmethods. Due to the impact of COVID-19, learning through Zoom wasinevitably implemented in addition to the face-to-face learning method.
The results in this study are as follows. First, the results of the analysis ofstudents’ preferences for face-to-face classes appear positive. All responseswere above the average. There is no significant difference betweengenders. Second, looking at the analysis results of Zoom classes, 5 outof 6 questions appear to be above the average. Third, in the relationshipregarding the face-to-face class method, there is a relationship betweenall questions. The correlation analysis of Zoom class questions also showsa very high correlation although it is lower than that of face-to-faceclasses. The limitation of this study is that the participants were limited tostudents attending a theological university.
