한국어 동사구 대용의 통사론: ‘그리하다’와 ‘그러다’를 중심으로 = The syntax of VP pro-forms in Korean: Focusing on kulihata and kuleta

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper presents a syntactic analysis of Korean VP pro-forms in Korean such as kulihata and kuleta. These VP pro-forms are identified as deep anaphora based on the diagnostics suggested by Hankamer & Sag(1976). Kulihata pro-forms an agentive v_DOP, whereas kuleta a dynamic vP_[-state], whose contrast can be explained by the property of hata in kulihata which is analyzed as an agentive light verb vDO. Based on this analysis of those pro-forms, this paper addresses argument structures of Korean, such as applicatives, causatives, and serialized verbs.
