The purpose of this study was to understand how emotion and immersion of students at elementary school participating in a dance program after school are related to the students`` self-efficacy. In order to achieve the research goal, the study analyzed data gained from a total of 199 students at elementary schools located in small and medium-sized cities in Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do. The data were analyzed by used frequency analysis, the factor analysis, the reliability analysis, the correlation analysis and the multiple regression analysis. According to the results, it was learned that first, the elementary school students`` emotion, immersion and self-efficacy are significantly connected. Second, the findings from the multiple regression analysis confirmed that the emotional depression has a significant effect on the immersion and the self-efficacy. Third, the immersion control was understood to affect the self-efficacy significantly. Fourth, in terms of the emotion and the immersion depending on the self-efficacy, both the emotion and the immersion appeared to have significantly related to the self-efficacy. In conclusion, the study, now, understands that any emotional experiences of the students at elementary school joining the dance program after school could have an influence on the immersion and the self-efficacy and that the emotion, the immersion and the self-efficacy are mutually related.
