성찬과 기독교교육: 아동에 대한 실천을 중심으로 = Communion and Christian Education: Focused on the Practice for Children

Communion is an effective source for the development of learners` faith from Christian educational perspective. But It is difficult for us to find the performance of the communion in the field of Church education. One reason for that is the impact of inadequate enforcement of the communion in our churches, the other one is negative theological stands to the performances of the communion for students in elementary and middle schools who are main targets of Christian education in the church. Such situation for the communion in the church educational context make christian educators in the faces on the issue of the choice approach to the communion which is theological or christian educational one. This article choose latter christian educational among the two positions in the context of choice practicing communion. Christian education of which major task is to contribute development of learner`s faith in view of the effects of the communion cannot accommodate negative theological stands to practice communion for children and adolescents. Theology is not whole but a factor which constitutes faith This study from Christian educational approach to the communion discuss the implications of educational natures and possibilities in theological significances for the communion. These substances must go through the process of ``Christian educationalizing`` to be connected to the practice in the field of church education. The reacher regards this practice as the educational Eucharist suggests specific contents for that. When we take communion not theological stand but christian educational one, there will be available the new birth of theological education for the sacrament which theology and education meet. in that place. Children and adolescents will experience growth of faith through the transcendent grace of the mystery from the communion at the same place.
