백민석 소설의 자기분석적 글쓰기와 전이(transfert) 공간의 서사화 = The Auto-Analytic Writing and Transferential Narrative in Baek, Min-seok's Novel

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aims to look into the mechanism and the meanings of Baek, Min-seok's auto-analytic writing centered on A Poor Kid Hans and The Diary of Refinement and Madness. His auto-analytic writing is based on the clear self-consciousness as a reader of his own novel. This self-consciousness can construct transferential space in his writing. These two novels especially use the transferential relation as the component of narrative structure. A Poor Kid Hans, including the talking cure process with a psychiatrist as important part of narrative, shows us how transferential conversations create the changed self-understanding and the new position of subject. And in The Diary of Refinement and Madness, Baek, Min-seok tries self-analyse on his writing through the surreptitious competition and conspiracy with his own separated self(alter ego). This trial is to search for the meaning of ‘writing of drive’ in his whole writing. Baek, Min-seok's auto-analytic writing signifies his existential struggle to keep on writing despite of the anxiety and pain connected with writing, while it distances traumatic 'strange body' in himself.
