      For the hygenic .treatment on the faeces of people io kwaog-ju city, first, its paras-
      itic investigations on .the faeces and vegetables around urban districts were performed. The results are as follows;
      1. The numbers of parasitic ovum . and larva on cabbages， radishes and onions from
      sale or cultivated districts were iovestigated. The order of the total numbers of ovum and
      larva is 20, per an onion, .16.2, per a cabbage and 2.8, per a radish.
      In the number of parasitic ova, Ascaris has the biggest， and Trichocephalus has the
      smallest.
      2. Among the materials of the faeces from storage-tank. brook and water-closet in the house, the faeces in the storage-tank in the suburb have the biggest asitic 7,500
      per gram, and the faeces of water-closet in the house have the smallest. 100 per gram..
      3. The faeces from water-closet io the house were the deposeted into the tank(tank to
      be used for experiment) for certain period. to investigate the life-span of Ascaris.
      The life-span of Ascaris in the faeces picked in july was 3 months. and its life-span
      in the faeces picked io octorber was 4 months.
      Almost all ova of Ascaris were killed in that periods， but some of them were not
      killed completely.
