Ⅰ. Introduction
After Liberation director, Han, Hyungmo's Jayu Ruin taking a long-run and the largest intresting of Korean audiemce in the Korean film history much influenced on the Korean film World. Director, Han made Choi, Inkyu's The Son's Children as the director of photography first time, also he directed Songbyok eul Tulko(1949) first time and continueously he have made 18 works until 1967's The Queen of Elite.
Ⅱ. Director Han's Film Work
Han's works are mainly melodrama about love. He have made 11 love-melodrama Jayu Ruin eye.. The rest his works are a various genre such as anti-proletaria, mystery, comedy, action, epic, nonfiction.
the main contents of his works deal the love between man and woman, the family story, the conflict of ideology and old history drama.
Ⅲ. Han's Film World
Director, Han had continuously stressed the spirit of Korean tradition and introduce the western cultures and also he had accused of social problems in his film. All Han's film tried to keep the value of Korean moral and traditional mind. Though he had a mind to introduce the western culture, after all he made Korean audience feel the sound Korean culture in his films.
The follows are the special points of Han's work.
1. His work's story source and selecting genre is a very creative.
2. His ability of mis-en-scene in his film is excellent.
3. His desire to the Western culture is too much but he must stress the Korean culture.
