일반 : 필사본 고소설의 지역별 유통과 문화지도 작성 = Regional Distribution of Handwritten Novels and Making a Culture Map

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

There are 511 kinds of handwritten novels distributed over the country from the mid-19th century to the late-20th century. Youngnam has 222kinds, Honam 83 kinds, Chungcheong 132 kinds, and Seoul and Gyeonggi 50 kinds. Samnam(三南) provinces are rich in handwritten works, but Seoul and Gyeonggi are poor. Especially the foots of the Sobaek(小白) and Noryeong(蘆嶺) mountain chain are rich in handwritten novels. That is because clan villages of Yangban are intensively distributed there. Agricultural villages are rich in handwritten novels, but fishing villages are fairly poor. Agricultural villages where confucian tradition was maintained have rich handwritten novel. The types of works are regionally different. Youngnam is rich in long novels, Honam in Pansori novels, and Chungcheong, Seoul and Gyeonggi in hero novels respectively. Especially there are plenty of novels such as <Changseongamuirok(彰善感義錄)>,<Chunhyangjeon(春香傳)>, <Yuchungryeoljeon(劉忠烈傳)>, and <Joungjeon(趙雄傳)>. Novels handwritten in Korean(國文) are much more than ones handwritten in Chinese(漢文) characters. Moreover, female readers(265) enjoyed handwritten novels are more than male ones(87). Youngnam and Chungcheong are rich in female readers, but Seoul and Gyeonggi in males. Classic novels were handwritten during the agricultural off season(53) more intensively than the busy season(181). Works of Samnam(三南) provinces were handwritten during the agricultural off season, but Seoul and Gyeonggi were not related with the agricultural season.
