설화의 현대적 계승 및 변주 양상과 의미 고찰 - 웹툰 『신선비』를 중심으로 - = A Study on the Modern Succession and Variation of Folktales and Their Meaning - Focusing on the webtoon 『ShinSeonbi』 -

The purpose of this study is to examine the hybrid aspects of the succession and variation of folktales, focusing on <Shinseonbi>, a webtoon based on <Shinseonbi>, a classic Korean folktale, and to explore the hybrid aspects of tale-based webtoon storytelling found in these aspects. It is to examine the characteristics and meaning.
In this study, first, the story of ‘Shin Seon-bi’, which is being reproduced through the lines of characters in the webtoon <ShinSeonbi> or the actual events of the episode, was analyzed.
Second, I examined how the tale of <Shinseonbi> was accepted and varied in the webtoon <Shinseonbi>. Among the tales of <ShinSeonbi in the Hole>, it was found that some elements of the narrative paragraphs of the breakup type, in particular, were maintained as they were in the webtoon, and some elements were transformed or eliminated. Third, we looked into the characteristics and meaning of the classic recreated webtoon storytelling shown in the webtoon <Shinseonbi>. The webtoon <Shinseonbi> adopts a single plot type among the classics, but cuts the number of various incidents that can be generated from this plot and stacks these pieces in each episode, setting the two Shinseonbi characters, their worldview, and their characters. It shows the characteristics of storytelling, such as the relationship between people, leading to a huge main narrative in front of the reader.
As a r esu l t o f th e s tud y , f i rs t , jus t as th e T a l e o f “Gurŏngdŏngdŏng Sinsŏnbi“ story has been handed down orally in different versions by various people, the process of being combined with the Tale of “Gurŏngdŏngdŏng Sinsŏnbi(Snake Groom) was also examined in the webtoon. It reproduced the characteristics of the story, and allowed the reader to experience the process of merging the contents of the fragmented story into one. Second, in the webtoon <Shinseonbi>, while inheriting the universal value of coexistence and coexistence of ‘humans and non-humans’ in the folktale <Shinseonbi>, the original story is fragmented and the story after the ending is divided into two characters. , fresh rain. By dividing the narrative of the Tale of “Gurŏngdŏngdŏng Sinsŏnbi”, a storytelling technique that breaks away from the typicality of the classics was implemented.
