      The purpose of this study is to examine the hybrid aspects of the succession and variation of folktales, focusing on <Shinseonbi>, a webtoon based on <Shinseonbi>, a classic Korean folktale, and to explore the hybrid aspects of tale-based webtoon storytelling found in these aspects. Third, we looked into the characteristics and meaning of the classic recreated webtoon storytelling shown in the webtoon <Shinseonbi>. The webtoon <Shinseonbi> adopts a single plot type among the classics, but cuts the number of various incidents that can be generated from this plot and stacks these pieces in each episode, setting the two Shinseonbi characters, their worldview, and their characters.
