ICT 기술 : 스마트 차량용 카메라 기술 동향 및 전망 = A Review on Recent Smart Vehicular Camera Technologies

국문 초록 (Abstract)

반도체 기술과 이동통신 기술의 발전으로 인해 고성능의 센서와 무선통신장치 등을 교통 환 경에서 활용할 수 있게 되었으며, 이러한 기술을 토대로 안전 관리 및 정보를 제공해주는 스마트 자동차 기술(Smart car technology)에 대한 기술개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 블랙박스와 운전자 보조 시스템 기술을 포함한 스마트 차량용 카메라 기술은 영상인식 기능과 무선통신 기능을 더하여 다양한 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 차량용 카메라 장치를 위 한 다양한 기술의 현황과 전망을 소개하고, 이를 위한 기술적 문제들과 해결 방향을 제시하고 자 한다. 이를 위해 블랙박스, 운전자보조시스템 장치들의 시장 동향과 자동차 네트워크 및 영 상 인식 기술 동향을 살펴본다. 다음으로 스마트 차량용 카메라 기술의 다양한 응용 서비스를 소개한다. 마지막으로 스마트 차량용 카메라 기술의 발전을 위한 기술적 문제점들과 문제해결을 위한 접근방법을 제시한다.

A rapid development of the semiconductor and mobile network technologies has enabled that high performance sensors and wireless communication devices are usable in the vehicular environment. M any researchers have been actively studying the smart car technology based on sensor and wireless communication technologies. The smart vehicular camera (SVC) technology including a conventional black box and an ADAS(Advanced Drivers Assistant System) provides various services using mage recognition and wireless communication technologies. In this research, we aim to present the status and prospects of various technologies of the SVC devices, and to describe the approaches to challenging problems. We first describe the characteristics, the standard, and the developments of black box, ADAS, V AN ET and image recognition technologies. Next, we present some applications and services of the SVC. Finally, we briefly suggest a few challenging topics on the key technologies and their approaches in order to enhance the SVC technology.
