스마트 디바이스를 활용한 교육서비스모델 및 프로토타입 디자인 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 스마트 디바이스 사용 환경에서의 교육서비스 형태를 디자인하고자 하는 연구로서, 교육용 콘텐츠의 제공 방식과 정보 표현 방법의 두 가지 측면에 대해 스마트 디바이스에 최적화된 서비스모델을 제안하고 더 나아가 프로토타입을 통해 이를 실증적으로 제시하고자 하였다.
이를 위해 먼저 본 연구에서는 그 동안의 멀티미디어와 정보통신기술을 활용한 교육서비스의 발전 동향을 이해하고 스마트 디바이스를 활용한 교육용 콘텐츠 현황과 스마트 디바이스의 특성 및 사용행태를 조사하여 현재의 문제점을 파악하고 발전 방향을 모색하였다.
그리고 이러한 이해를 바탕으로 사용자들이 가지고 있는 스마트 디바이스 기반의 교육서비스에 대한 기대가치를 도출하였으며, 이를 토대로 과학학습을 대상으로 새로운 교육서비스의 가능성을 도출하여 스마트 디바이스 환경에 최적화된 교육서비스 모델을 디자인한 후, 최종적으로 본 연구에서 제안한 교육서비스 모델을 효과적으로 나타낼 수 있는 실증적 프로토타입 사례를 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to propose a new educational service model in which content providing methods and information expression methods are optimized for smart devices, and to present prototypes of such a service model.
For this purpose, first, the development of IT-based education services, especially focusing on smart device-based educational contents, was reviewed to understand the technology environment of the educational service. Second, characteristics of smart device and its users’ behavior were investigated to understand current problems and to explore the possible developing direction. Third, with these understanding and investigation, user’s expectation values on smart device-based educational service were developed.
Finally, on the basis of the results of such prior studies, a new educational service model focusing on learning scientific contents was designed and its prototypes were proposed.
