장서각 소장 유일본 『어졔』에 대한 국어학적 연구 = A Study on the Linguistic Characteristics of Eojye being preserved in Jangseo-gak

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Eojye is the Korean hand-written data and the unique archive in Jangseo-gak. Eojye is the book consisted of 'Syeongnyeoneul thyumohaya seonghuneul oewa sseo thungjaral beonora' (「셕년을 튜모하야 셩훈을 외와 ？튱자랄 뵈노라」), 'Gyeongsyephyeon eonhae'(「경셰편언하」), 'Eojye Jasyeong myeonthik yuneum'(「 어졔자셩면틱？음」), and 'Eojye Baekhaengweon'(「어졔박항원」) which are translated its book written by chinese character into Korean. We can not know the exact published period and the wirter. But we can suppose to have translated and written in 1765 or in the later eighteenth century.
In the view of writing system and phonology, this archive in the respect of 'l-l(ㄹ-ㄹ)' chain, palatalization, vowel modification etc. is quite conservative in comparison with other korean hand-written data and xylographic data in the 18th century. In the view of syntax, there are no great differences of the case makers between Eojye and other archive in the 18th century. For example, subject case maker 'ga(가)'r isn't used and genitive case marker isn't distinguished by vowel harmony. But we can find characteristics of honorific and interrogative form. Especially we can find special honorific function of '-ao(아오)-' which have had the modest function in the 15th century.
