This Study is to Review Value-oriented Creativity Education for Early Childern on the Basis of Fro¨bel`s Idea. The conclusions are as follows. 1. Fro¨bel emphasized the idea of unity in children`s creative self-activities as the core principle of education. Unity is the divinity or the essence of all the matter in the universe. The divinity in the children`s self-activities is the creative power and foundation for culture. The final purpose of educaton is to develop a man who can express his divinity freely. 2. Man can best express his divinity through play. Play givies a form to the child`s inner life, and a life to the outer world. This kind of active and volitional play is a charateristic in early childhood. 3. Gabe is a set of playthings invented by Fro¨bel in 1837 to develop creativity or the divinity in children. Gabe was designed to enable a child to realize the cosmic laws, unity, and himself. It was also expected to develop the divine creativity and power of order in a child.
