      ABSTRACT

This paper was written to show the sovereignty of God revealed from the Exodus. This paper studied the process that the Israelite people got to come out of Egypt through 9 disasters of Almighty God when they lived in it as slaves.
Many modern people do not think the 9 disasters were not the real things that happened by the sovereignty of God. However, the above paper points out that it is the wrong idea. It's because the assertion that the 9 disasters naturally happened has the limit as examined above. And it ignores the sovereignty of God. It's because God's work cannot rationally be judged.
We can know several theological perspective points shown through the 9 disasters. First, the questions about 'Did Pharaoh's stubborn mind make himself stubborn or did God make his mind stubborn?' are the important in who the sovereignty of God depends on as examined in problem raising.
And the first theological perspective that could be found in the above paper is the creative theological viewpoint. Pharaoh's suppression of the Israelite people as the slaves is anti-creative and defies the moment that God starts to keep the promise of growth and development and prosperity given in his creation.
The theological perspective that can secondly be found is the emancipatory theological viewpoint that God sets them as the slaves free through the 9 disasters. This viewpoint shows the sovereignty of God by setting the Israelite people as the slaves in Egypt.
The third theological perspective shows God's judgement against Pharoah and the sovereignty of God by informing Egyptians of who God is and Jehovah's name. This means that God informs them of who he is as examined from the cognitive official viewpoint.
Like this, we again get to know that the supervisor of world is God as we study the 9 disasters from the several theological viewpoints. And we get to know who Gold existed in the past and lives in and works even in the present even though we live in this world losing the sovereignty of God. Like this, we can live in this world experiencing God that Moses experienced when we know, admit, and understand the sovereignty of God.
