다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The advance in information technology has been enormously affecting the development of libraries. In fact, it’s not just libraries but also almost all areas/organizations of our society that are experiencing changes due to the rapid development of information technology. The chanage is an ongoing process, and it will be continuing in the future. In this study, we first examined how information technology affected library development from a historical point of view, We then suggested effective ways of improving children’s services by discussing new information technologies that will be available in the near future and their potential impact on the development of libraries.
