The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the effect of early English education on the first year high school students' English achievement and interest. This study is based upon the survey in which questionnaires are given to the first year high school students, their parents and teachers. Each table and graph provided here are from the calculation of the numbers of response per each subject. No statistic analysis is included here. For students, the degree and part of English achievement via an early English education and the mental state while their receiving an early English education are the major concerns. The parents are questioned about, according to their monthly income, the method of their children's English education they prefer as well as their thought about what specific part of English is improved in their children's English achievement. For teachers, the degree of influence of early English education in teaching English and the part of English achievement are targeted in survey. To conclude, students had a fun while their receiving an early English education, which leads to upgrade their English achievement and interest even though the effect of early English education does not appear equally to every part of English; students and their parents thought early English education largely affects written English while teachers judged that it mainly affects spoken English. This study suggests that, rather than relying on expensive private education or studying abroad at an early age, early English education created by parents is highly recommended.
