The purpose of this study is to suggest educational contents for reinforcing text coherence using the cohesive device of demonstrative and conjunctions adverbs. In order to accomplish this research purpose, summarize the results of previous studies on how demonstrative and conjunctions adverbs function in texts and how they contribute to coherence. Also from the point of view of coherence, analyze demonstrative and conjunctions adverbs used in 20 French learners' texts in a qualitative way, categorize the problems. The findings of data analysis showed that first, the use of directives was only at the beginner level, second, it was not possible to clearly distinguish between ‘ ’ and ‘ ’, third in the functional aspect, most of the demonstrative were used only for the function of maintaining the topic. Conjunction adverbs are used more frequently than demonstrative. However, there were many texts that showed excessive use, and most of them were used only to connect sentences, so it did not help to establish coherence. It is necessary to educate demonstrative and conjunctions adverbs in the level of text generation. It should be educated so that learners can develop the coherence of texts through strategic use of demonstrative and conjunction adverbs.
