The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among motivation to participate in reemployment programs, meaning in life, and aging anxiety among middle-aged men. The sample consisted of 253 middle-aged men. Data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS, employing frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling. The results indicated the following: First, motivation to participate in reemployment programs had a significant effect on reducing aging anxiety. Second, motivation to participate in reemployment programs significantly enhanced the sense of meaning in life. Third, a higher sense of meaning in life significantly contributed to lower levels of aging anxiety. These findings suggest that participation in reemployment programs may help middle-aged men find meaning in life and reduce aging-related anxiety, underscoring the importance of engaging in social activities such as reemployment programs.
