파킨슨병 노인의 사회참여가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 = The Influence of Social Participation on Quality of Life in the Elderly with Parkinson’s Disease

Objectives: This study was to identity factors affecting quality of life of the elderly in Parkinson’s disease.
Methods: Data are collected from 187 elders with Parkinson’s disease over 60 years. The instruments used in this study were ADL, depression, social participation and quality of life.
Results: The quality of life were significantly correlated to income, duration of illness, gait disturbance, ADL, social participation and depression(p for all<.01). The significant predictors of quality of life were social participation(=.52, p<.001) and depression(=-.31, p<.001). These factors accounted for 58% of variance in the quality of life.
Conclusion: The program to increase quality of life for the elderly with Parkinson's disease should be designed to develope nursing strategy for social participation and depression

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적 : 본 연구는 파킨슨병 노인의 사회참여가 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인을 고찰하기 위한 서술연구이다.
연구방법 : 2012년 12월 3일부터 2013년 1월 31일까지 B시의 D대학병원에서 60세 이상의 파킨슨병 노인을 대상으로 일상생활수행능력, 우울, 사회참여 및 삶의 질 도구를 사용하여 자료를 수집하였고 연구에 적합한 총 187부를 분석하였다.
연구결과 : 삶의 질과 상관관계는 소득, 유병 기간, 보행 장애, 일상생활수행능력, 우울 및 사회참여 모두 p<.01에서 통계적으로 유의하였다. 파킨슨병 노인의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 요인은 사회참여(=.523, p<.001)와 우울(=-.306, p<.001)이었으며 삶의 질에 대한 영향력으로 58%를 설명하였다.
결론 : 파킨슨병 노인의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 프로그램은 사회참여 및 우울을 위한 간호학적 전략이 개발되도록 설계해야 할 것이다.
