『유씨삼대록(劉氏三代錄)』의 남성 인물에 대한 구조적 폭력 연구 : 공주혼을 중심으로 = Study of Structural Violence to Male Characters in Yussisamdaerok: Focused on Princess Marriage

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study would investigate the emotional aspects the male characters show under the structural violence and their meanings, focusing on structural violence to male characters in princess marriage in Yussisamdaerok and also investigate how the readers looked at the violence. To reveal this, this study received help from Johan Galtung’s concept of structural violence.
Male character Se-hyeong Yu shows an excessive sense of loss and displeasure under the structural violence of princess marriage. Concerning the simple processing of emotions like this, the meaning would be examined, comparing female characters in the same work and male characters in other works. The readers of the work look at structural violence to male characters broadly from two perspectives. First, Se-hyeong Yu’s resistance against structural violence was associated with the achievement of excessive affection, and such a part might give vicarious satisfaction to female readers. Second, the part in which the male character changed from a victim to an offender acts as an element that interests the readers. However, it illustrated the fact that like women, men suffered pain from structural violence, but in that ultimately, it did not turn over the structural violence, there is a limi-tation in the narrator’s consciousness.
