한국 지역색채 어플리케이션 개발을 위한 색채감성형용사 연구 = Color sensitivity adjective study for development of Korean local color application

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Local color is a basis for inherent emotion as a distinct color of one local area. It is also an important element for landscape resources that has an impact on establishing emotion of local people.
However, the systematic data about local colors has not been established in our country. Therefore, in order to overcome such a difficulty, we processed the research about color sensitivity adjective to develop Korean local color application available to everyone. This research has a purpose to draw color sensitivity adjectives that will be used as an internal element when developing Korean local color application. In the research process, we conducted literature research, expert group verification, user group survey and so on to extract more correct color sensitivity adjectives. About 260 color sensitivity adjectives drawn from the research process enable people to express not only local color image of Korea but also color images in various fields by using Korean local color application. Color sensitivity adjectives have been developed to elevate the utility of the application by putting the 260 words finally selected to each area by categorizing the color image words into 25 fields to help users in using the application. The final representative adjectives used in Korean local color application are “pretty, beautiful, active, dynamic, rough, lovely, funny, gorgeous old, heavy, soft, elegant, mild, gentle, modern, comfortable, natural, sophisticated, decent, profound, pure, clean, cheerful, intellectual, authoritative and so on. The result of the research can be used when planning Korean local landscape coloring by amounting it to Korean local color application. Through this, we are expecting to heighten the understanding in expressing the Korean image and color emotion. In addition, we will be able to utilize this in the field of geographical color, architecture, design, art and formative art. However, since the color sensitivity adjectives from the research are drawn to elevate the utility of specific applications, we may need additional research about color sensitivity adjectives for universal use.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

지역색은 한 지역의 고유색채로 지역의 고유감성의 근거가 되고 지역사람들의 감성형성에 영향을 주는 중요한 경관자원요소이다. 하지만 국내에는 아직 지역색에 대한 체계적인 데이터가 구축되어 있지 않아, 이러한 현실적 어려움을 극복하고 누구나 활용 가능한 한국 지역색채 어플리케이션을 개발하기 위하여 색채감성형용사 연구를 진행하였다.
본 연구는 한국 지역색채 어플리케이션 개발 시 내부 구성요소 중 하나로 사용할 색채감성형용사를 도출하는 것이 목적이다. 연구과정에서는 보다 정확한 색채감성형용사의 추출을 위하여 문헌조사, 전문가집단 검증, 사용자집단 설문등을 진행하였다. 이 과정을 통해 도출된 260개의 색채감성 형용사는 한국 지역색채 어플리케이션의 사용 시 한국 지역색채 이미지를 표현할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 다양한 분야의 색채이미지를 표현 할 수 있다. 색채감성형용사는 사용자들의 편의를 도모하기 위하여 색채이미지 언어를 25개의 영역으로 분류하여 최종 선정된 260개의 언어를 각 영역에부여함으로써 활용성을 높이려 하였다. 한국 지역색채 어플리케이션에서 사용할 최종 대표 형용사는‘귀여운, 아름다운, 활동적인, 역동적인, 거친, 사랑스러운, 재미있는, 화려한, 오래된, 무거운, 연한, 우아한, 온화한, 중후한, 모던한, 편안한, 자연의, 세련된, 격조있는, 깊이있는, 순수한, 깨끗한, 경쾌한, 이지적인, 권위있는’등이다.
본 연구결과는 한국 지역색채 어플리케이션에 탑재하여 한국지역의 경관 색채계획 시 활용이 가능하고 이를 통하여한국적 이미지와 색채감성을 표현할 때 이해도를 높일 수 있을 것이라 기대한다. 또한 지리적 색채 연구, 건축디자인 미술 조형분야에서도 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 다만 본 연구를 통해서 도출된 색채감성형용사는 특정 어플리케이션의활용도를 높이기 위한 것으로 보다 범용적인 사용을 위해서는 색채감성형용사에 대한 추가연구를 진행해야 할 것이다.
