Rasch 모형을 이용한 간접적으로 지각한 사회적 지지 척도 단축형(PSO-8) 개발 = Development of Short Perceived Social Support through Others Scale (PSO-8): A Rasch Analysis

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Park(1985) defined social support as a multidimensional construct consisting of emotional, information, instrumental, and appraisal aspects and developed a self-report scale. Since its development, the scale has been widely adopted in various disciplines, including nursing, psychology, and education. However, due to the length of the scale, its use has been limited. Thus, in the present study, we developed an 8-item, short version (Perceived Social Support through Others Scale-8; PSO-8) using Rasch analysis. Data was collected from 350 college students, and Rasch analysis was conducted. Based on the result, 8 items were selected to be included in the short form, and five-point Likert scale was selected as the appropriate rating scale. The implications and limitations of the study are discussed.
