논리 프로그램의 AND / OR 병렬 처리를 위한 데이타 플로우 모델 = A Data Flow Model For Supporting AND / OR Parallelism of Logic Programs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

논리 프로그램의 순차 처리 방식은 그 계산 속도의 향상에 어느 정도의 한계가 있다. 따라서 논리 프로그램의 병렬 처리 문제는 현재 중요 연구 과제가 되고 있다. 논리 프로그램의 처리 속도의 향상을 위해서는 OR 병렬성뿐만 아니라 AND 병렬성의 검출 및 처리가 행해져야만 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 AND 병렬성을 검출하는 간단한 프로시쥬어를 제시하며, 이 프로시쥬어를 이용하여 OR 병렬성뿐만 아니라 AND 병렬성을 데이타 플로우 그래프를 사용하여 표현할 수 있는 모델을 제안한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The enhancements of the execution speed in the sequential execution mechanism of the logic programs have some limitations. Therefore, the parallel exectution of logic programs is the major direction in recent years. In order to enhance the execution speed of the logic programs, the implementation of AND-parallelism as well as OR-parallelism should be carried out. In this paper, we propose the simple procedure which can detect the AND-parallelism of the logic programs. And using this detection procedure we propose the dataflow model which can represent the AND-parallelism as well as OR-parallelism by the data flow graphs.
