전문적 여가스포츠 경험 척도 개발을 위한 타당도 검증 = Development and Validation of the Serious Leisure Sports Experience Scale (SLSES)

Leisure experience requires understanding of inherent meaning attached to leisure and on-going efforts to acquire wisdom to capitalize on leisure in an appropriate manner. Leisure experience should not be deemed as a mere means of spending spare time nor activities in pursuit of pleasure only. With such genuine understanding of leisure experience, a privilege is granted to relish the highest degree of happiness as a person engaging in leisure activities seriously. In this context, it is of high significance to identify purposes of those seeking leisure activities being undertaken seriously, and consequent changes such participants of leisure activities go through and characteristics of leisure activities involving such participants.
The purpose of this study was to develop a serious leisure sports experience scale(SLSES) among serious leisure sports participants. In order to meet this purpose, Kim mi hyang(2001), Park soo jung(2002), and Stebbins(1992) was used to translate and analyze its adaptability in Koreans. A total of 372 sample who were serious leisure sports participants was used for data analysis.
Statistical procedures included descriptive statistic, factor analysis, internal consistency. Cronbach's Alpha was calculated to test the reliability of items and their internal consistency. Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA) was conducted to test the structure of each factors with principal analysis and varimax rotation. Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA) was conducted to test the factor validity of this inventory with LISREL 8.3, for windows.
The results was appeared as follows, the Serious Leisure Sports Experience Scale(SLSES) was consisted 4 factors(recognitive, emotional, social, environmental) and 12 items, After the results of confirmatory factor analysis, on the index values was appeared fit.
